In simpler terms, Augmented Reality, is the interaction of virtual content, with the real world, and this is what sets augmented reality apart from virtual reality.
A good use-case of Augmented reality would be in the e-commerce sector: creating a solution where users can place an object(chair) from your store's database into the user's home space in real-time, to test how the furniture will fit, before placing the order.
